I wrote this book for the people I encounter every day. People who work for a living, moms with little kids, seniors, and anyone who doesn’t exercise. Basically, anyone who can’t motivate themselves to start an exercise program. This book is for readers with gym memberships they don’t use, exercise videos they don’t watch, and fitness equipment collecting dust. This book is not for the athlete looking to get ripped.
Lots of other programs and books have super fit people with a six pack on the cover as the inspiration. Athletes who have trained all their lives. Celebrities who look amazing. I’m writing for the out-of-shape person who is constantly contemplating exercise.
American Heart Association (AHA)’s study in 2016 found that the largest health benefit for both all-cause and heart disease mortality occurred between the least fit and the next least fit group of individuals. This study found that these “least fit” people will show dramatic, life-changing effects in a relatively short time with minimal effort. This is the fitness level of most readers of health books and the people I want to help.
